got back last night to lovely l.a.

great trip home but i missed simba

i spent more than one day uncomfortably full

even though i thought i was going to be sick, i kept on eating

out at barnsley canal and tinkers pond

dad told me they used to pull the barges down here and wash linen in the pond

sounded a bit far fetched but he is usually right

lots of chubby horses/ponies that seemed ok in the cold, but i was uneasy about it - shouldn't they be cosy in a manger somewhere? eating hay?
