garden update

home grown salad is imminent

i got one small tomato baby so far

it was beautiful

seemingly at ease and confident

when i was about this age, there were some auditions in barnsley for the sound of music

i wanted to audition for gretl

and i remember sitting there waiting for my turn and then finally freaking out and refusing to audition

its a big regret of mine

i always think about how idyllic it must be to grow up here

but our summer festivals were great too - if it didn't rain

it was such a gorgeous day when we visited

and i actually thought how nice it must have been to be there looking at that view

amazing how what must have been such an oppressive horrible place could look so appealing on a sunny day

no wonder i live in southern california - sunny days make the strip malls look good
