there was so much to see in his house that my eyes were on stalks

i don't know why he is so well known for the rocker - his other chairs were at least as beautiful, if not more so

he is 93 and has a 5 year waiting list for a chair - i hope some people wont be disappointed

and the most touching thing was that the house was full of photos of his late wife, poems to her and drawings of her

went to his house in alta loma today

it is pretty amazing, but we were really sad that we couldn't take any photos of the interior

it was fantastic inside, not only the furniture but all the details - and you could see the wood shop through a window, but not allowed to go in

that was disappointing, to be honest

the docents were strict pensioners and snapped at me a couple of times for stepping in the wrong place!

i got back at them by sneaking a photo of the spiral staircase

you can put them up in minutes......or hours if you have had problems with ikea products in the past

great for the back garden instead of those nasty old home depot sheds

insulated too - maybe these can replace the toxic fema trailers??
