farewell to cruising

until i am over 65

this couple looked like seasoned travelers

our last day in st thomas

what a shame we all get off the boat and waddle down the 5 streets paved with jewelery shops and duty free
i bet this was a beautiful place at one time

until the cruise ships came and made it into a mall

moon

we have managed to miss the hurricane
but have not been off the boat in a couple of days

now we are in st thomas and allowed to get off
was feeling a bit pukey which was made worse by this milk shake

kitchens

trying to find lovely thing to photograph on this ship is hard
but some of the signs re so nice in their simplicity

and i loved the kitchens

at sea

we had a tour of the kitchens today
8 galleys
everything is sanitized by spraying down about 4 or 5 times a day
after the tour they had to sanitize again

locals

near the market were some lovely hole in the wall bars that i wanted to take better photos of
but i felt uncomfortable - like such a tourist

this lady thought i was such a tourist too

first day off the boat today
we are avoiding a hurricane and tomorrow will be missing st maarten because of it
so another day on the boat
